How to Use The Mind and Body for Health and Clarity

So there's a saying that I heard, and it's actually been very useful to me and I wanted to share it. The saying was, "If the problem is in the mind, use your body. If the problem is in the body, use your mind."

This comes into play with many psychological factors in the body. Not only does it make us feel better, but the brain literally starts to waive these problems off as if they are not as serious (Which usually aren't). 

So here is what to do if the problem is in your mind:
Use your body. That's it. 
Try exercise or meditation to get rid of what's in your mind or to stop overthinking. 

A lot of times, we overthink. Or we have a lot of problems we have to handle and we get emotional. Maybe something terrible just happened. Start clearing your mind by using your body. If you exercise, you might still think about it, but your body will reward you in many other ways that will psychologically make you more full-filled and happy.

Here's what to do if the problem is in your body:
Use your mind. 

The majority of the time, we just have to use common sense as to what is causing trouble in our bodies. It could be that something hurts inside, it could be that your workout is intense. Using your mind to create mental toughness and/or common sense will go a long way. Of course, if you need medical help, go seek it. 

When you start doing this and creating this habit, your own overall health will start to improve. Healthier weight, healthier mind, happier moods, etc.

As a word of advice, I would recommend listening to some positivity and staying away from negative people. If there is no people/person who is positive, listen to someone online. Focusing on a goal and working towards it is one way to go about finding that positive aspect in your life.
